Innovative Food Holdings Announces 17th Consecutive Month of Record Sales; 2010 Best Year of Sales in Company’s History

NAPLES, FL — (MARKET WIRE) — 02/08/11 — Innovative Food Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: IVFH) today announced that the month of December 2010 represented the 17th straight month of month over month record sales for the company. In addition, sales for 2010 were the best ever in the company’s history. Full 2010 financial results will be released upon the filing with the SEC of Innovative Food Holdings’ Annual Report on Form 10-K which will include fully audited financial statements for 2010.
Innovative Food Holdings is also pleased to announce that Todd Carrell has joined its wholly-owned subsidiary, Food Innovations, Inc. (“Food Innovations”), as Executive Vice President of Sales & Procurement, where he will focus on product line expansion in all sales channels and development of sales relationships.
Mr. Carrell has over 25 years of experience across multiple areas in the foodservice industry, including 17 years with a national foodservice distributor. Prior to joining Food Innovations, he served most recently as the Director of Street Sales for that company’s Tampa division. As the Street Sales Manager of the division, he managed over 70 people and was responsible for over $170 million in annual sales.
Mr. Carrell’s past positions include Hotel Food and Beverage Director, and Chef. Todd is a culinary trained chef with degrees in Culinary Arts and Foodservice Management from Johnson and Wales University, Providence, RI .
