NEW YORK, NY — (MARKET WIRE) — 02/09/11 — Hannover House, the entertainment division of TARGET Development Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: TDGI), has signed wholesale distribution agreements with four additional, major video distributors that will assist with the retail placement of the company’s extensive 2001 line up of new release DVD and Blu-Ray video products. The addition of these new accounts to the company’s wholesale roster completes the distribution plan set-forth in early 2010 by C.E.O. Eric Parkinson , and provides Hannover House with nationwide, retail reach comparable to the major studios.
Newly entered pacts have been made with A.E.C. Wholesale, Navarre Corporation , Super-D Distributors and Westcott Marketing. Key accounts serviced by these wholesalers include Target Stores, K-Mart , Barnes & Noble , Borders Group , Family Christian Stores, Christian Book Outlet , Berean Christian Stores , and dozens of other chains collectively representing over 15,000 storefronts nationwide. Hannover House currently sells to twelve key wholesalers that service over 50,000 storefronts, including Blockbuster and WalMart . The addition of these four new wholesale distributors for Hannover House video products complements the existing sales network and provides the company with access to every major video retail chain in the United States that sells or rents video products.
“We are excited about these new relationships,” said Parkinson. “As the company embarks on a major release slate of 36 or more new video items this year, it was critical that we maximize our reach to all major chains.”
Hannover House has scheduled eight films for theatrical release in 2011, and an additional 36 items for release to the video market, including DVD, Blu-Ray and Video-On-Demand. Previously announced video releases during 2011 include “Boiler Maker,” “Cook County,” “Bobby Dogs” and “Championship Soccer.” Previously unannounced video releases for spring 2011 include the David Carradine action-thriller, “Black Ops: Predator Drone,” a four-pack of Gladiator adventures entitled “Thor and More,” and the Jules Verne Collection of animated features, “Journey to the Center of the Earth,” “Around The World in 80 Days” and “20,000 Leagues Under The Sea .”
In addition to its vast and growing network of retail video customers, Hannover House also services most major Video-On-Demand suppliers, as well as Redbox kiosks.
